He made a major political conclusion that Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and the main contradiction in our society has been transformed into the contradiction between the people’s growing need for a better life and the unbalanced development, profoundly expounded the historical mission of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in the new era, established the historical position of the supreme leader Socialism with Chinese characteristics Thought in the new era, and put forward the basic strategy of upholding and developing Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. The goal of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way and starting a new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way has been set, and comprehensive arrangements have been made for promoting the great cause of Socialism with Chinese characteristics and the new great project of party building in the new era. 　　The congress emphasized that we should adhere to the Party’s leadership over all work, take the people as the center, deepen reform in an all-round way, adhere to the new development concept, adhere to the people being the masters of the country, adhere to the comprehensive rule of law, adhere to the socialist core value system, adhere to the protection and improvement of people’s livelihood in development, adhere to the harmonious coexistence between man and nature, adhere to the overall national security concept, adhere to the Party’s absolute leadership over the people’s army, adhere to "one country, two systems" and promote the reunification of the motherland, persist in promoting the building of a community of human destiny, All comrades in the Party must fully implement the Party’s basic theory, line and strategy, and better lead the development of the cause of the Party and the people.
